Spanish[edit]
Etymology[edit]
Literally, “tell me with whom you go about, and I'll tell you who you are". andar can also mean "to walk", so another possible translation is "tell me with whom you walk, and I'll tell you who you are”.
Proverb[edit]
dime con quién andas, y te diré quién eres
- tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are
