drip tip (plural drip tips)

  1. (botany) An elongated leaf tip from which excess water can drip off harmlessly, as found in plants of the rainforest.
  2. (entomology) An elongated extension to the wall of a structure, such that unwanted water drips off, as found in the nests of some species of rainforest paper wasps.
  3. An attachment for an e-cigarette that drips e-liquid directly onto the atomizer.
