hyperactive battlefield (plural hyperactive battlefields)

  1. (US military jargon) Warfare involving advanced technologies that expand military engagement beyond the physical battlefield, such as high-speed information technology, artificial intelligence, long-range sensors, stealth, precision-guided munitions and sensor-to-shooter systems.
