- The belief in or advocacy of genital autonomy (i.e., the right to not be subjected to involuntary, nontherapeutic modification of one's genitals).
Usage notes
[edit]- This term includes opposition to infant male circumcision and female circumcision, and may also extend to supporting protection of intersex people against involuntary gender reassignment and other nontherapeutic genital surgeries.
