- (transitive) to bedrench, to drench, to mop up, to presoak, to soak (to immerse something in water or other liquid for a while in order to change some of its properties)
- (reflexive with się) to become wet when exposed to a liquid for some time
- (reflexive with się) to soak in a liquid and change some of one's own properties when placed in it for a while
- (reflexive with się, colloquial, humorous) to feel satisfied by taking a long bath
