1. The penis of a transgender person who has changed from female to male, made from the former clitoris.

     The neopenis can only become erect by inserting stiff material into it or by having plastic tubes implanted into the groin, so that pressing a bulb will cause the penis to hydraulically inflate with fluid and erect.

     Although many of the phalloplasty techniques may achieve closely the goals of a neopenis with normal urination, none of them are perfect, and therefore none have achieved universal acceptance.
