From Lua error in Module:etymology at line 156: Old Occitan (pro) is not set as an ancestor of Catalan (ca) in Module:languages/data/2. The ancestor of Catalan is Old Catalan (roa-oca). (compare Occitan dobertura, obertura), from Vulgar Latin *obertūra (compare French ouverture), from Latin apertūra (compare Spanish abertura). Equivalent to obert +‎ -ura. Doublet of the borrowed variant apertura. The sense of "aperture" was a later learned development or borrowing.
