- (transitive, colloquial) to dumbify, to duncify, to stupefy (to cause someone to be unable to think reasonably or to believe something that is not true by knowingly telling them things that are untrue or misleading)
- Synonyms: ociemnić, odmóżdżyć, odurzyć, otumanić, zrobić wodę z mózgu
- (reflexive with się, colloquial) to dumbify oneself, to duncify oneself, to stupefy oneself
- Synonyms: odurzyć się, otumanić się
Usage notes[edit]
Only the passive adjectival participle ogłupiony and the verbal noun ogłupienie are in common use.
