  1. to prostitute (to make someone work as a prostitute, i.e., having sex for profit)
  2. (figuratively) to use in some humiliating way; to corrupt
    tautas partija prostituē gan politiku, gan varu, gan valsti un vispar visu, ko vien var prostituētthe people's party prostitutes the politician, the power (= government), the country and in general everything that one can prostitute
