See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Proto-Finno-Permic *sawe. Cognates include Ingrian savvu, Karelian savu, Livonian so’v, Ludian savu, Veps savu, Võro sau, Votic savvu, Northern Sami suovva and Moksha сув (suv).
