Etymology
From the (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Latin sūdōrifer (“bearing sweat”). The term originally came from the Latin sūdor (“sweat”) from the Latin verb sūdō (“I sweat”) + -i- + -fer (“-fer, that which carries”) from the Latin verb ferō (“I bring”) + -ous (forming -ferous).
