Etymology[edit]
From taĩ (“that”) + -aĩp (“adverbial suffix”). See -aĩp for more information.
The form taĩp was introduced into Standard Lithuanian from Lithuania Minor, instead of the Sulvalkian forms teĩp, tèp.[1]
