Etymology[edit]

From taĩ (that) +‎ -aĩp (adverbial suffix). See -aĩp for more information.

The form taĩp was introduced into Standard Lithuanian from Lithuania Minor, instead of the Sulvalkian forms teĩp, tèp.[1]
