Etymology[edit]
ใต้ (dtâai, “beneath; under”) + ฝ่า (fàa, “sole”) + ละออง (lá-ɔɔng, “particle; sprinkling”) + พระบาท (literally “holy feet”); literally "the underneath of the particles at the soles of (your) holy feet".
