  1. (obsolete, agriculture) A former measure of fertility of soil or crop yield in grain production; the ratio of average harvest (in kg) to the amount of seeds sown (in kg).
  2. (by extension) A measure of relative value of property such as a plot of land or a flat, based on chosen utility function such as expected value of the crops in case of agricultural land or market value in the urban areas.
