runīgs (def. runīgais, comp. runīgāks, sup. visrunīgākais; adv. runīgi)

  1. talkative (who enjoys, tends to talk a lot, who enjoys having conversations)
    runīga večiņatalkative old lady
    Eduards šai vakarā bija neparasti runīgs — Eduards that evening was unusually talkative
  2. (figuratively) significant, meaningful (such that it expresses something, from which something can be deduced)
    Elna paspieda vīra roku, un jau viņai likās, ka šis viens rokasspiediens bijis pārāk runīgs — Elna shook her husband's hand, and already it seemed to her that that one handshake was too meaningful (lit. talkative)
