Of Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "pregrc" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF. origin; possibly from an Oriental source,[1] perhaps from Dravidian (compare Tamil தோகை (tōkai, tail (of a peacock))) or a Turkic source (compare Turkish tavuk (hen)). Cognates include Latin pāvus, pāvō, and perhaps Hebrew טַוָּס (ṭawwā́s), Aramaic טַוסָא (ṭawsā), Arabic طَاوُوس (ṭāwūs).
