تَهَافَتَ (tahāfata) VI (non-past يَتَهَافَتُ (yatahāfatu), verbal noun تَهَافُت (tahāfut))

  1. to scramble, to press into or upon, to throng, to scour, to flock, to descend [with عَلَى (ʕalā)]
  2. to be infatuated, to be head over heels into [with عَلَى (ʕalā)]
