Declension[edit]

This entry is still being disputed.
Only specific Punjabi nouns have vocative, locative, ablative, and instrumental declensions. Only a few common nouns have a locative singular declension, with most instances being for proper nouns. Further, instrumental case only occurs with dual number (not singular or plural), and words for foods, God, and a few specific kinship terms have different plural rules in Punjabi.
