Usage notes[edit]

In the history, 'คน' was never spelled as 'ฅน'. The letter 'ฅ' was once called 'ฅ ฅอคน' (kho khokhon, neck of a person), but nowadays it has worn down to 'ฅ คน' (kho khon, person). This leads to the misspelling of 'ฅน'. However, 'ฅน' is occasionally used in book, movie, or TV program titles that is considered as neologism.
