Gothic

Etymology

Uncertain. Possibly an apocopated form of πƒπŒ°πŒΉπˆ (saiΖ•), second person singular imperative of πƒπŒ°πŒΉπˆπŒ°πŒ½ (saiΖ•an, β€œto see”). Alternatively, it has been derived from the pronoun πƒπŒ° (sa): either with a deictic -𐌹 (-i) (comparable to and of the same origin as the Greek deictic iota) or as a locative form.

Interjection

πƒπŒ°πŒΉ β€’ (sai)
