both the ip and the new etymologies are wrong, or at least need a scholarly citation explaining the form. i explicitly could not find this, which is why i left it with the template only. if the ip were right the ㅅ is unexplainable, and if User:B2V22BHARAT is right we would expect 안히곱다 because is a ㅎ종성체언.

First attested in the 長壽經諺解/장수경언해, c. 1525, as Middle Korean 아니ᄭᅩᆸ다 (Yale: aniskwopta). Equivalent to (an, “inside”) + (i, “A particle marking a grammatical subject ”) 곱— (gop-, “curved, bend”) + —다 (-da). [1]
