Etymology

From Pali ārādhanā (invitation; gratification; propitiation); ultimately from Sanskrit आराधन (ārādhana, idem); perhaps via Old Khmer ʼārādhnā, ʼārādanā, ʼārāddanā, ʼārādaṇā (to invite; to summon; to solicit; to ask a favour or boon; etc) or Lua error in Module:parameters at line 360: Parameter 2 should be a valid language, etymology language or family code; the value "okz-A" is not valid. See WT:LOL, WT:LOL/E and WT:LOF.. Cognate with Modern Khmer អារាធនា (ʼaariətniə).
