Wrong; Sanskrit (a) has corresponded with Romani /j/ in Romani jag (fire) as well; derived from Old Indo-Aryan ágni. Perhaps Romani jakh is from Sanskrit अक्षि (akṣi) after all. माधवपंडित (talk) 08:09, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
