@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89 Can you explain what part of speech рабоче is? Benwing2 (talk) 00:21, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

It is the compound-forming form of рабо́чий (rabóčij). --WikiTiki89 00:23, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Wikitiki89 Hmm. I don't have a POS for such things. How common are they? I've never seen them before. Benwing2 (talk) 00:25, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
They are common, e.g. e.g. северо- but they are often made prefixes, e.g. водо- but they are not exactly prefixes. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:31, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Benwing: Just a morphological note in case you care, these forms usually end in either -о or -е, but occasionally in -у or -ю. I'm not aware of any other endings, but they may exist. We have a Serbo-Croatian entry for -о-, but I'm not sure that's really a good way of handling it; it's not really an interfix. --WikiTiki89 00:38, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
As for pronunciation, the natural and correct pronunciation is [rɐˌbot͡ɕɪ krʲɪsʲˈtʲjanskʲɪj] (че->чи). --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:42, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
"рабоче" is not a word. It's just a root with interfix. Some compounds are written together, others are with hyphen.--Cinemantique (talk) 00:49, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I agree that it is not a word, but I disagree that it has an interfix. It is just a specific stem ending used to link with the next word. --WikiTiki89 00:52, 30 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
