[edit]The Russian for "crouch 3: to bend, or cause to bend" is "сгибаться, склоняться", not "виться". Please make it correct somebody.

Could it historically mean "lie down"?
[edit]Chambers 1908 defines it as "to squat or lie close to the ground". I've never known crouch to mean "lie down". Equinox ◑ 02:50, 24 October 2018 (UTC)
