I have definitions of educational technology from four sources:

http://www.lmuaut.demon.co.uk/trc/edissues/ptgloss.htm from the Leeds Metropolitan University branch of the Association of University Teachers

http://www.neiu.edu/~dbehrlic/hrd408/glossary.htm from the Northeastern Illinois University

http://www.aset.org.au/ from the Australian Society for Educational Technology

http://coe.sdsu.edu/eet/articles/edtech/start.htm from the Encyclopedia of Educational Technology published by the Department of Educational Technology, San Diego State University

Hi,
Dictionary definitions can suggest the correctness of a definition's wording, but they don't count towards our inclusion criteria. See WT:CFI#Conveying meaning. —Muke Tever 03:00, 20 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
The last two references in the list are not dictionaries. In each case, a description of the term is given within an article. 159.101.38.38 21:59, 1 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

The current definition is shitty, but a more accurate one would be completely SOP. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 21:38, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Unless one can find value in a definition like the following: "the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources." I can't. DCDuring TALK 00:15, 7 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
