- Appears in a few old dictionaries. One cites Chaucer's Lamentation of Mary Magdalen: "Ah ye Jewes, worse than dogges rabiate" (though this would be Middle English; I haven't checked whether the spelling here has been modernised at all). Equinox ◑ 01:18, 14 March 2019 (UTC)
- The Chaucer cite is the most common, but we have two in modern English in the entry now. In addition, I found They get rabiate about "non comformance" and "mandatory compliance", since the things they are "standardizing" are often unproven academic wanking excersizes., although I don't think that is permanently archived.
