- I added one quotation that I'm sure is good, from the US Fisheries commission. I also formatted & corrected the usage from Melville, but he spells it slobgollion, which is arguably not the same word. And I added a 1987 reference to "slumgullion of tuna meat, dried blood" etc., but this might mean (figurative) "stew" rather than literal "fish or whale offal".
