UAC (countable and uncountable, plural UACs)

  1. (uncountable, computing, Microsoft Windows) Initialism of User Account Control: a technology that limits application software to standard user privileges until an administrator authorizes further privileges.
  2. (countable) Initialism of unaccompanied alien child: a child sent to cross an international border without a formal adult guardian.
