What's that?[edit]

I see you are entering various characters. But the format is so far from the en.wiktionary norm, that I can't tell even what you are trying to get to. What is it you are trying to do? --Connel MacKenzie 20:05, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is NOT Wikipedia. I don't think that is the appropriate way to go about it, but I'll ask for fluent speakers to help decide how to approach it. Have you read Wiktionary:About Japanese in detail yet? Your edits seem to be in direct conflict with it. --Connel MacKenzie 20:10, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Why you stop me? I'm Japanese, I know about Japanese words. I think that are good way for to guide Japanese words. Japanese words are made by hiragana, that are 2, 3 or 4 letter on mostly case. Gojuon combinations table are natural good solution. You can think a good way to that without that? thanks. --Akanemoto 20:18, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Akanemoto
--Tohru 15:53, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop creating pages (even subpages) or moving any. Some sysadmin will have to clean it all up.
The example you give of a crosstable in the wikipedia is not useful in the wiktionary. As Tohru has explained, we have proper indexes to real words, both manually edited and generated as automatic indexes. (e.g. Special:Prefixindex/ま).
I am reverting the changes made to the kana entries in the main namespace. Robert Ullmann 16:42, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please more I thinks I be, to can. I have some ideas for my example, in autometic page viewing, but I also thinks that are there are also other solutions and/or, your given's are including in. I can to better and to good my example, I think keep it or death of. I don't think to change your revertings, thanks for. --Akanemoto 18:12, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Very msg verbositys, sorry. I thinking someone, to I doing, going to. --Akanemoto 18:32, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not play with a template used on thousands of pages. And the "icon" is no good. Robert Ullmann 21:35, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I has thinked "should be needed" for the template, I doing that. I removed the templates of the pages. But I thinking the font-size=5 is too big, 4 is better. And bolding of Template:ja-noun are ugly. I think should be unbolding on hiragana, katakana and romaji. How do you think? --Akanemoto 21:45, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
4 might be better, but we've checked this in a fairly large number of browsers and screen sizes. We want it to be consistently big enough to show small differences in the characters. As to bolding, we follow the consistent style across all of the entries for things in Latin fonts (e.g. rōmaji), and we never bold Han characters / Kanji. Kana we hadn't sorted out. But if we change it there are a number of places.
note that proper nouns should be {{ja-pos|k|proper|...}} not ja-noun, so they will go it the correct category. Robert Ullmann 21:51, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
proper nouns are {{ja-pos|k|proper|...}} note the proper! Robert Ullmann 21:23, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you[edit]

Thank you sincerely for all the work you are doing on geographic names. I am very glad to see someone adding translations, and to see you linking to the wikipedia articles. I wish there were more people working so hard to improve Wiktionary. Thank you, --EncycloPetey 03:41, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
