topical categories

To help keep the topical categories, such as Category:ta:Foods which you created in sync, we have a template that not only adds the parents automatically, but adds a description as well. {{topic cat|lang=ta|current=Foods}} is the preferred way of creating that category. — Carolina wren discussió 18:38, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Tamil nouns

For Tamil nouns, you can use {{ta-noun}}. It does the same thing as {{infl | ta | noun }}, but it also has a special tool built in to help people whose computer may not show Tamil script correctly. It also allow you to include the transcription in the template with tr=, so you don't have to add the parentheses. Singapore place names in Armenian

Hello. Where do you get Armenian forms of Singapore place names like Պասիր Րիս or Ձուրոնգ Արևելք? Looks like you are transliterating those by yourself, and often incorrectly. --Vahagn Petrosyan 04:41, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Triwikanto, I have to ask you to stop creating those Armenian place names. Almost all of your entries are spelled against Armenian orthography rules. You cannot transliterate placenames without knowing both languages well enough. If it makes you feel better I promise to add all South Asian placenames which have a standard and accepted spelling in Armenian one day. --Vahagn Petrosyan 14:14, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Placenames in Kannada

Please refrain from adding transliterations to place names in Kannada, your recent transliteration of ಜುಱೊಙ್ ಪೂರ್ವ was completely incorrect. Where the hell did you get the g from when there is no g consonant in the entire word? Furthermore, you did not transliterate the first word correctly. No g consonant and the second consonant is a depreciated consonant that is ṟa. Again, please do not add any more place names in Kannada, or for that matter, ANY place names as I do not believe that you have the ability to correctly transliterate them. Molotov cocktail

I am curious why you moved Molotov cocktail to the lowercase molotov cocktail. I am pretty sure that it is meant to be capitalized as the "Molotov" part is from a person's name. - [The]DaveRoss 02:36, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
