Tybalt

Please see WT:FICTION, particularly "With respect to names of persons or places from fictional universes, they shall not be included unless they are used out of context in an attributive sense.". Does this entry meet that criterion? DTLHS (talk) 02:44, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

Hmm. Well, I found an example in s:Heart of the West/VIII:

"Buckley," commented Ranger No. 3, who was a misguided Eastern man, burdened with an education, "scraps in such a solemn manner that I have been led to doubt its spontaneity. I'm not quite onto his system, but he fights, like Tybalt, by the book of arithmetic."

Here's another one in s:Nicholas Nickleby/Chapter 29:

"Jupiter!" exclaimed Mr. Folair, "what an unsophisticated shepherd you are, Johnson! Why, applause from the house when you first come on. So he has gone on night after night, never getting a hand and you getting a couple of rounds at least, and sometimes three, till at length he got quite desperate, and had half a mind last night to play Tybalt with a real sword, and pink you—not dangerously, but just enough to lay you up for a month or two."

Hi, please make sure the Tibetan words you added are verified (e.g. ཙངས་པ‎ meaning "lizard") and conform to the existing format in Category:Tibetan lemmas (e.g. titles do not end in །‎; ཀློག‎ using the conjugation-of template). Thanks. Wyang (talk) 22:19, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

CFI for appendix-only conlangs

Here's a notification that a CFI for appendix-only conlangs has passed and can be implemented in upcoming months. I'd like to enquire how you feel about the CFI and whether you would propose any changes. ←₰-→ Lingo ^Bingo _Dingo (talk) 18:02, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

I don't think I'm active enough to be able to vote anymore, and this passed anyway, but it seems to me that this is a positive change. Relaxing the restrictions is a good idea imo. Your objections seem valid, though. -Xbony2 (talk) 18:20, 6 February 2021 (UTC)
