Allowed templates not listed include {{unsupportedpage}}, {{see}} (?), {{also}}, {{nolanguage/box}}, {{notenglish/box}}, and the {{character info}} templates.—msh210 (talk) 18:58, 21 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've just removed all the erroneous uses of {{see}} for {{temp|also in NS:0. I hope, anyway. Mglovesfun (talk) 19:24, 21 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
{{also}} was in the list. I'll leave {{see}} here so that they can be on another cleanup list. The char info temps were allowed, just not listed. I've added the rest. Thanks. --Bequw τ 03:38, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

ja

[edit]

On the Cyrillic ja, there is a header note that it is a different term than the Latin ja. This script-based note seems OK to me for the page header (similar to character info templates). Do we want a standard template for this type of note? --Bequw τ 14:52, 1 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

We have one: {{also}}. I don't see any need for more.—msh210 (talk) 17:36, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think it should be templated or removed all together. I've also seen the same thing with l and I which look the same in some fonts. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:53, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yep at Io. --Bequw τ 04:12, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
I've made {{script note}} for now. Maybe this should take place over RfDO. --Bequw τ 12:33, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Listed.—msh210 (talk) 17:24, 23 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Template:defn

[edit]

Should {{defn}} be allowed on pages without an entry for that language (e.g. 腋下, zdravilo, nüfuz)? When there isn't one these end up in the page header (the ones caught here) or at the end of one of the existing entries, both of which are confusing. Should these be converted to links on the wanted pages? --Bequw τ 04:03, 9 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'll exclude these pages from the report for now. --Bequw τ 01:47, 6 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
No it shouldn't; there are ways round this; either add a language section with {{defn}} or {{rfdef}} or remove {{defn}} and use Wiktionary:Requested entries or the entry's talk page. Using {{defn|lang code}} outside of a language section is misleading (not definitionless, but entryless) and also less visible than a requested entry page and/or a talk page. Mglovesfun (talk) 12:39, 18 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
OK, I've included those pages again. --Bequw τ 18:09, 19 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Template:Commonsrad

[edit]

What do people think of the acceptability (of being above the first L2) of {{Commonsrad}} which links to Commons' images? Examples: , , , , . --Bequw τ 19:31, 19 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

An argument: Commonsrad has the same functionality as the Template:also, see it e.g. at , and many other pages, always above the first L2.
Additional, the position at the uppermost right corner corresponds perfectly to that of the link template at the Commons, see e.g. Commons:Category:女 or Commons:File:腟.gif -- sarang사랑 07:01, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I'll leave it off the next run. --Bequw τ 16:38, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Template:was wotd

[edit]

This should be in the bracket 'always allowed'. Mglovesfun (talk) 21:04, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
