Usage notes

  • Acerola originated as a word for the azerole (Crataegus azarolus), but was applied to Lua error in Module:taxlink at line 68: Parameter "noshow" is not used by this template. after Europeans found it in the New World. Since the azerole is little known outside of Europe, usage in the Americas seems to almost entirely indicate Malpighia rather than Crataegus.
