From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Latin aposiopesis, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek ἀποσιώπησις (aposiṓpēsis), from ἀποσιωπάω (aposiōpáō, be silent), from ἀπό (apó, off, from) + σιωπάω (siōpáō, to be silent).
