bubble shell (plural bubble shells)

  1. (malacology) A marine univalve shell of the genus Bulla and allied genera, belonging to the Tectibranchiata molluscs.
  2. Any of the headshield slugs of genus Bulla, belonging to the clade Cephalaspidea of gastropods.
