From Spanish cascarilla, small thin bark, Peruvian bark.

Noun

cascarilla (countable and uncountable, plural cascarillas)

  1. A euphorbiaceous West Indian shrub (Lua error in Module:parameters at line 828: Parameter "noshow" is not used by this template.).
  2. The aromatic bark of this shrub, formerly used as a gentle tonic or mixed with tobacco for smoking.
