From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek χᾰ́ρῐσμᾰ (khárisma, grace, favour, gift), from χᾰρῐ́ζομαι (kharízomai, I show favor), from χᾰ́ρῐς (kháris, grace), from χαίρω (khaírō, I am happy).
