Borrowed from Hindi चोदा (codā, abusive term for “son”), from चोदना (codnā, to copulate), from Ashokan Prakrit *𑀘𑁄𑀤𑁆𑀤𑀢𑀺 (*coddati), from Sanskrit चोदति (codati).
