From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Old French julep, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Medieval Latin julapium, via (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Arabic جُلَاب (julāb) from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Persian گلاب (golâb, “rosewater”), from گل (“rose”) + آب (“water”).
