  1. (Indian cuisine) A hot, sweet, and sour curry, developed and predominantly available in the curry houses of the United Kingdom, whose main ingredients are chillies, white wine vinegar, fresh ginger, sugar, garlic, coriander, and (optionally) tamarind.
