From (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Medieval Latin syncopātus, past participle of syncopō, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Late Latin syncopa, from (deprecated template usage) [etyl] Ancient Greek σύν (sún, with) + κόπτω (kóptō, cut)
