Usage notes

• Not used in modern Armenian.
• The sign should be placed on top of a letter, but most current fonts do not do that: they show it following a letter, e.g. Ած՟.
• The most common abbreviations were:

  Ած՟ = Աստուած

  Այ՟ = Աստուածոյ

  յԱյ՟ = յԱստուածոյ

  Ավ՟ = Աստուածով

  ամ՟ = ամենայն

  պտ՟ = պատասխանի
