Borrowed from Arabic إِبْرَة (ʔibra, “needle”).

- needle, a long, thin and sharp implement used in sewing and knitting
- pin, a needle without an eye used for fastening
- Synonym: ایكنه (iğne)
- bodkin, a sharp-pointed tool for making holes in cloth or leather
- stinger, a pointed portion of an insect or arachnid used for attack

- (colloquial) penis, the male reproductive organ used for sexual intercourse
