One potential option would be Japanese, since 中原 means 'central plain' in Japanese. But that would be silly because we assume that 'Central Plain' doesn't come from the language of an island off the Asian mainland- it comes from the langauge of the place where the Central Plain is located. That language is Mandarin Chinese. Hence I change the calque to cmn. undo
