   Бри́тва тупе́ет. ― Brítva tupéjet. ― The razor is becoming blunt.

   Боль тупе́ет. ― Bolʹ tupéjet. ― The pain is becoming dull.

2. (intransitive, figuratively) to become dumb or dumber
