From Old Marathi 𑘐𑘰𑘄 (gāu), 𑘐𑘰𑘽𑘄 (gāṃu), 𑘐𑘰𑘌 (gāo), 𑘐𑘰𑘪 (gāva), 𑘐𑘰𑘽𑘪 (gāṃva), 𑘐𑘼𑘽 (gauṃ), from Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 2 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "pmh" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E., from Sanskrit ग्राम (grā́ma), from Proto-Indo-Aryan *grā́mas, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *grā́mas. Doublet of ग्राम (grām). Cognate with Konkani गांव (gā̃v), Gujarati ગામ (gām), Hindi गांव (gāmv).
