Etymology

See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E.), from Sanskrit भृज्यते (bhṛjyate) (compare भृज्जति (bhṛjjáti)). Compare Old Marathi 𑘥𑘨𑘿𑘕𑘜𑘹 (bharjaṇe), Old Marathi 𑘥𑘨𑘕𑘜𑘹 (bharajaṇe). Cognate with Konkani भाज्चे (bhāzce) (compare Bengali ভাজা (bhaja), Assamese ভাজা (bhaza), Sylheti ꠜꠣꠎꠣ (báza)).
