Cognate with Northern Thai ᨤᩬᩴ, Khün ᨤᩳ, Lao ຄໍ (khǭ), Tai Dam ꪁꪷ, Shan ၶေႃး (kháu), Tai Nüa ᥑᥨᥝᥰ (xöw), Phake ၵ︀ေ︀ႃ (khō), Ahom 𑜁𑜦𑜡 (khō) or 𑜁𑜞𑜦𑜡 (khrō), Zhuang hoz, Saek กฺ๊อ.
