Etymology[edit]
From ทอง (tɔɔng, “gold”) + ไม่ (mâi, “not”) + รู้ (rúu, “know”) + ร้อน (rɔ́ɔn, “heat”); originated from the conception that gold seems to be barely affected by the high heat used in the process of smelting gold.[1]
